Anne reads books

Anne reads books.

My friends and I have decided to increase our knowledge and read 1000 books before we die. Assuming (rather pretentiously) that we live another 60 years, that is 16.7 books a year. Here is where I am going to keep track of these books. (I’m also keeping track in a physical journal because, although I love the idea, I probably won’t have tumblr when I’m 80.)

If you have any suggestions of books or you want to know about a book I’ve read or you see something on my list that you strongly do not recommend, come to my ask!

Please help me add to this list! Also, feel free to join! The more the merrier!

Re-reads count once, so I’ve already read some of these but would like to again, without sacrificing my goal! *Starred books are re-reads (just so you don’t think I haven’t read things like Harry Potter already lol)

Plan to read:

  • Pride and Prejudice
  • The Help
  • City of Fallen Angels
  • Looking for Alaska*
  • Sorceror’s Stone*
  • Lord of the Rings
  • Alice I have Been
  • Pillars of the Earth
