Actually, I was really mad at Quinn for saying that.

The one thing you don’t say or tell someone who is suicidal or has been is that they are being selfish or that they’re being stupid.

That only validates their decision even more.

I went through The Trevor Project’s Life Guard training a couple of years back (because I work at a gay youth center and teen suicide risk in this area is really high) and those were two of the BIGGEST things they told me.

I think the writers actually wrote this perfectly. Kurt was obviously upset about what happened with Dave, and hearing someone saying things like that when this boy just tried to kill himself is enough to make you angry. Of course he’d be irrational, and probably say “You have no idea what he’s been going through.”
